Hungary gets new 50 MHz and 7 MHz allocationsThe Govt. decree on the National Table of Frequency Allocations (FNFT) and the Decree of the minister of informatics and communications on the rules of the use of frequency bands (RAT) were published in the Official Gazette on March 21st. No confirmation is needed from the Communications Authority. We can use the new frequencies from March 29. The new ministry decree on the radio amateur service will expectedly
come out in April. It will abolish the Morse code requirement and consequently
aligns itself with the CEPT license and exam regulations end will introduce
an entry level license category. That is, there will be 3 license categories:
entry, CEPT Novice and CEPT. The RAT reflects * In the present license system the permitted output power in the 7100
- 7200 kHz segment is 150 W for the HF Class B licensees and 250 W for
