FCC Hurricane Impact Panel to meetRadio World on-line says that an FCC panel reviewing the impact of Hurricane Katrina on communications networks plans to meet on March 6th at Jackson State University in Mississippi. The groups meeting will include oral presentations regarding the impact
of Katrina on the telecommunications and media infrastructures, including
public safety communications, and ways to improve disaster prep, network
reliability and The group will make recommendations on needed improvements back to to the FCC by June 15th.
