Radio Amateur in Hijack DramaOn Wednesday 8 March 2006, Kevin Radford, ZR6AZW, son of Norman, ZS5FJ, was involved in a hijacking incident. The hijackers tried to take a new 4X4 vehicle from Kevin and his family. Apparently, his wife's wedding ring was stripped off her finger. Kevin was shot twice and subsequently landed in ICU. The Alberton Amateur Radio Club and all other radio amateurs, wish Kevin and his family all the best and trust he will have a speedy recovery from this incident.
