SARL membership just 12 short of target

The SARL membership is just 12 short of the target set for the 2005/2006 financial year, which ends on 30 June.

The current paid-up membership is 1263. "We should reach this target comfortably by that date," Graham Hartlett said. "I invite non-members to contact Vee today and sign up so that we can exceed the target."

Membership has two advantages. The first one is that it spreads the costs of running the SARL over a wider base, but more importantly the larger the membership the stronger SARL muscle to negotiate with the various authorities.
