NT Active Amateur Radio Group

The NT Active Amateur Radio Group will be hosting a net on Sunday nights at 21:00 Local THAT IS 11:30z on 146:650 Simplex in Darwin on ECHOIRLP Node IRLP-6800 ECHOLINK 8913 which will connect to Reflector 9506 in Sydney
Australia, this is so that Nodes from all over the World can now join the VK8 net if they wish to and for travelling VK8's to check in where ever they are in the World.

VK8NSB Stuart will be hosting the VK8 net and welcomes all Amateurs from around the world to pop in and say G'day to Darwin. The net is a very informal net that will basically be about sharing your interest in Amateur Radio with others , you never know you might be able to help someone with a Radio project from the other side of the World.

The NT Active Amateur Radio Group also run ECHOIRLP Node 6800 , APRS a DXCluster and soon to have on air a SSTV Repeater on HF / VHF.

The NT Active Amateur Radio Group do not hold meetings, or have membership fees or any Committee , just a group of Amateurs that are active and have the same interest, "" being active on Amateur Radio"" , the Group will meet to have a BBQ now and then but no formal meetings.

NT Active Amateur Group founding Amateurs are Stuart VK8NSB, Joe VK8VTX & Mike VK8ZMA (Currently active as 5U7MA - in Niger Africa).
