Egbert Begemann, ZS6AZG - Silent KeyIt is with deep regret that the Pretoria Amateur Radio Club notes that the key of Egbert Begemann, ZS6AZG, went silent on Monday 20 March after a short illness. He had suffered from arthritis for many years and recently underwent an operation for this when complications set in. He was a long time member of the SARL and served as the councillor responsible for the RAE for a period. He was a member of the Magalies Radio Amateur Club and later joined the Pretoria Club where he served for a number of years as their honorary auditor. The committee and members of the Pretoria ARC and all amateurs share their sympathies with his wife Iza, ZR6IZA, his children, other relatives and friends.
