Clubs urged to recognise Radio Amateurs for achievements

During his monthly President's Net held last Sunday, Graham Hartlett, ZS6GJH, asked clubs to recognise radio amateurs who have contributed to their club or to amateur radio nationally. This includes radio amateurs who have achieved in on the air activities.

He said that annually the SARL holds an awards function as part of the Annual General Meeting. The SARL has a number of awards and asked club committees to make recommendations. Although nominations closed at the end of last year, the SARL will accept nominations until 9 March 2007.

Send a short motivation to the secretary, by email to secretary@sarl.org.za or fax it to 088 011 675 2793.
Please use the full number and not just the old fax number.
