GB2LD active to commemorate grounding of liner 'Suevic'

Over the weekend of 17/18 March GB2LD will be on air from
The Lizard in Cornwall to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the running aground of the liner 'Suevic' on the Marnheere Reef, off the Lizard.

The number of survivors who were taken ashore by lifeboat remains a record in the history of the RNLI.
