Suffolk Radio Scouts on-the-air 1st April

The Suffolk Radio Scouts, will be on the air with GB2SRS on Sunday 1st April from 09-30 (ish) to 16-00 (ish) running a base at JITA 2 (Join In The Adventure 2) at Hallowtree Campsite near Ipswich in Suffolk.

We will have some of our recently licenced and more experienced Radio Scouts on hand to give moral support from those who have 'been there and have the badge'.

Also our local radio club Felixstowe & District Amateur Society has a Foundation Course running that weekend and so they will be doing the 'on air' assessment around lunch time on Sunday, we will be the 'official stooge station' but you would do even better!! There are 3 Scouts on the course !!! even better still.

JITA2 is the second of 2 days to allow / encourage leaders within Suffolk Scouting to take part in etc various Scouting activities, one of which we all know MUST be Radio Scouting!
