71 Foundation Licensees in VK7
A recent look at the ACMA RadCom database of amateur licence holders
reveals there are currently 71 foundation licence holders within VK7 and
soon to be 74.
According to the database, there are currently 579 licensed amateurs within
VK7 once you remove the 22 beacons and repeaters, so our Foundation licensees
account for a little over 12% of our amateur population.
On a state by state basis, VK7 is way in front in the training and assessing
of foundation licensees.
This is a real credit to all trainers, assessors, invigilators and
the many people who volunteer their time around the state.
