Amateur Microwaves - where are we heading?

On Tuesday 1st April the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) will be given a talk by the Radcom Microwave columnist Sam Jewell G4DDK.

He will provide an update and some crystal ball gazing regarding the future of amateur microwave radio equipment and operations.

Sam will show some old, modern and possible futuristic amateur microwave equipment and discuss where this seemingly niche, but ultimately the future, of amateur radio is heading.

The meeting will be held at the Marconi Social Club (MASC), Beehive Lane, Great Baddow, Chelmsford, CM2 9RX and visitors are most welcome.

The doors open at 7:10 pm and the meeting gets underway at 7:30 pm. Car parking is free and a bar is available for refreshments.
