Competition Commission approves Arqiva and NGW merger

Arqiva and National Grid Wireless (NGW) are to be allowed to merge following an investigation by the UK Competition Commission.

Between them they operate over 20000 communications sites across the UK used by companies such as BBC, Vodafone, T-Mobile, 3, O2, Orange, BSkyB, Channel 4, ITV and Emap.

Their masts are also home to some Amateur Radio repeaters.
