The Ham Radio Search EngineWhy do we need our own search engine? How often do we go to one engine, sift through pages of ill found results only to move to the next engine a few pages later and do exactly the same again? CQoogle.com does all this sifting and searching for the user. When the search word or term is entered, CQoogle.com retrieves results from the major search engines (Google, MSN, Ask, Yahoo, Jeeves etc) then filters the results for ham radio content and presents the searching ham with the results, it is that simple! CQoogle.com was put online at the beginning of March and already has thousands of users per day from Japan to South America. In addition, permanent links and search boxes have been placed on many ham radio sites including Germany’s DARC front page! Can a Ham list their own site? Yes! Whilst CQoogle.com searches the major search engines for results, it also has it’s own engine too. Users may list their own site and have it indexed by CQoogle.com. The advantage of doing this listing is that any CQoogle.com listed sites will appear above any other result for a given key word or phrase search. Try CQoogle.com and compare the results! In order to establish the validity and focus of the results, we challenge the user to try searching for the same subject on both Google (or another well know engine) and again on QRZearch.com. See the difference? Subject searches to try: If you would like more information about CQoogle.com or feedback, please contact me at Justin@cqoogle.com
