GAREC-08: Preliminary program features D-Star

Among the items on the preliminary program for the fourth Global Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Conference, GAREC-08 is one titled 'D-Star an Advanced Technology in Emergency Communications'.

The event will take place on Thursday, 26, and Friday, 27 June 2008 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, in combination with HamRadio 2008 (27-29 June).

GAREC-08 will focus on the co-operation among IARU member societies and with specialized groups working on emergency communications in the Amateur Radio Service.
