GB3TC 10 GHz repeater on the air

GB3TC - believed to be the first 10 GHz FM voice repeater in the UK - went on air on 14th March 2008. It is co-sited with GB3CS at Berryhill Farn, Kilsyth, Lanarkshire.

This project, together with a beacon project for the 23, 13 and 9cm bands (GB3CSB) is designed to stimulate activity on these higher frequency bands.

The project is being independently operated and funded by local radio amateurs with support from the Central Scotland FM Group (CSFMG) and the CSFMG technical team.

Output 10471.3 MHz
Input   10371.3 MHz
100 MHz split, 103.5Hz or 1750 access tone.
H-pol, about 5W erp.

Beacons in FM with call and locator every 60s when not repeating.

The output of the repeater is conveniently in the Amateur Satellite segment so could provide a useful signal source for setting-up equipment.
