1895 Lumiere Bros show first movie show to Paris audience.

1896 Prof. Bragg X-rays son William's injured elbow. First in OZ.

1902 N.Stubblefield first ship to shore wireless telephone broadcast.

1904 First colour picture in Daily Illustrated Mirror, New York.

1909 Einar Dessau of Denmark radios to a govt radio post 10 Km away. This is believed to have been the first broadcast by a ham operator.

1910 Harry Houdini makes Australia's first powered flight in Victoria.

1916 Anzac Corps lands in France, WW1.
