Changes to 3.4/5.7/10GHz beacon antennas at Martlesham, Suffolk

There have been changes to the microwave beacon antennas at Martlesham which may result in improved coverage to the West. Reception reports are welcome.

John G3XDY writes:

Over the past two days we have been re-arranging the antennas for most of the GB3MH beacons. As a result the coverage may have changed, the effect is likely to be minimal on 3.4GHz, but on 5.7GHz and 10GHz there may be some improvement in coverage to the West, with the tower blockage now largely from NW to N.

Reports will be welcome, as and when we get any rain scatter or tropo.

The 2.3GHz beacon is off for rather more major surgery.
