Responses to Ofcom 2012 Olympic Planning Consultation

The responses to the Ofcom Spectrum planning for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games consultation which closed 22 Feb are now available.

Among the responses are those by the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, Terrestar Global and Northrop Grumman Information Technology.

BAE Systems have submitted an interesting response relating to the use of 60 GHz.

It seems likely that the London 2012 Olympics will require considerable spectrum in the Microwave (3- 30 GHz), UHF (300 - 3000 MHz) and even the VHF band (for legacy FM handhelds).
