SARL VHF/UHF Contest

The first leg of the SARL VHF/UHF Contest will be run from 10:00 UTC or 12:00 CAT on Saturday 15 March to 10:00 UTC or 12:00 CAT on Sunday 16 March 2008.

Participation can be as a fixed station, a portable or field station or a limited category station. Activity takes place on 6, 4 and 2 metres, 70 and 23 cm and higher using FM, SSB, CW and digital modes. The exchange is call signs, signal reports and a six-digit grid locator.

Get yourself or your club station ready for this contest and try out different modes on the VHF/UHF frequencies. The rules are available in the 2008 SARL Contest Manual available on www.sarl.org.za.

SARL 80 metre QSO Party

The first leg of the SARL 80 Metre QSO Party will take place on Thursday evening 3 April 2008 from 19:00 to 22:00 CAT.
