Another Antarctic op and cruise being planned

Mehdi, F5PFP, announced this past weekend that he is in touch with several French skippers for another planned expedition to the Antarctic area to take place in 2 years.

He stresses that this is just in the 'project stage', not an official announcement!

The itinerary would be more or less the following:

Machu Picchu + Republica del Ecuador refuge (King George Island)
Cerda traces station (Deception Island)
Maldonado (Greenwich Island)
Portal Point traces station (West Graham island)
Port Circoncision (Petermann Island)
Yelcho (Doumer Island)
Melchior (Observatorio Island)
And possibly a few more bases/refuges

Mehdi states this kind of expedition will take a long time to prepare because of the high cost (+/- 6000 Euros per person).
