ARMAD / Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day

Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day or ARMAD will be held on May 23, 2009.

We encourage all Amateur Radio Clubs, and operators to get on the air and show thanks, support, and appreciation to our troops, military retired and veterans.

This can be done at a location of your choice, and at a time of your choice. This is an excellent way to promote Amateur Radio.

Set up a special event and call CQ or run a net on the frequency of your choosing. We will use Echolink, IRLP, Packet, APRS, and HF.
