GB3WA taken out of service

GB3WA, the amateur radio 70cm repeater, located near the village of Kilmington in South Wiltshire, has been permanently taken out of service.

The repeater needs several of its 30 plus year old cavities replacing as well as its PA to make it a viable repeater operating at full capability again. The site is still in need of a suitable mast / tower to support both the antennas, thus replacing the temporary mast, currently on site.

Unfortunately, the funds are just not available and so the groups have taken the decision to remove the repeater from the air.
