Amateur Radio Space Station FM Repeater video

A video of the signals heard via the 70 cm to 2 metre FM crossband repeater on the International Space Station (ISS) has been made available on YouTube.

The signals from the ISS are very strong and a handheld transceiver or a scanner with an omni-directional antenna will receive them.

The equipment used in the video is a Yaesu FT-8100R with a Diamond X 50 omni-directional antenna.

The video 'Ham Radio Crossband Repeater ISS over Germany' can be seen here.

When the ISS crossband repeater is active the uplink frequency is 437.800 MHz and the downlink can be heard on 145.800 MHz FM, both frequencies plus or minus Doppler shift.
