RSGB Convention details

This year's RSGB Convention (formerly known as the HFC) will as usual include the traditional lecture streams, HF, DX, Technical and Beginners but, for the first time, will also include a full stream of VHF lectures.

Ian, G4FSU is co-ordinating the traditional streams, while Neil, G3RIR and Reg, G8VHI have plans well in hand for what promises to be a very interesting stream of VHF lectures.

The full range of UK exams will be available over the weekend along with chances to take the US exams.

Mark, M0DXR, who ran the extremely popular Contest University sessions at last year’s event, is currently working on running another University session this year. Likewise, the FOC guys are planning another Morse challenge for you to have a go at.

The RSGB Convention takes place at the Wyboston Lakes Conference Centre in Bedfordshire over the weekend 9 to 11 October.

The sponsors of the RSGB Convention, Icom UK and Martin Lynch & Sons, will both have the latest range of equipment on display for you to examine and take away.
