Turkish Special Event Station

Members of the Turkish group called SWAT (Special Wireless Activity Team) will be active as TC18M between March 17-19th.

Activity is to commemorate the 94rd anniversary of the Naval Victory (March 18, 1915) in th Gelibolu Wars (World War I).

Operations will take place from the University of Canakkale grounds and on the Asiatic side of Dardanelles, overlooking the Straits where the Naval War took place.

Activity will be on the HF bands using SSB and CW. Operators will be TA3FB and TA3AX. QSL Manager for this year is TA3FB.
