WIA Centenary QRP Contest

The VK QRP Club is sponsoring a new commemorative contest that should have very wide appeal and be a lot of fun too.

The WIA Centenary QRP Contest is open to all radio amateurs whether they be Foundation, Standard or Advance licensees with the aim of encouraging interest in the use of low level transmit power.

For the entire UTC month of May the contest will be on the 80m and 40m bands using either CW, AM or SSB.

It's hoped that a lot of stations will be calling 'CQ WIA Centenary QRP Contest'.

The rules will be published in the April edition of Amateur Radio magazine and on the WIA website.
