Echolink at Lough Erne Amateur Radio rally

Echolink allows licensed radio amateurs to communicate
with one and other over the Internet using a mobile or
static FM transceiver.

Ian Morrow Mi1CCU will have his interesting stand at the Lough Erne Rally, on Sunday 11 April in the arena at the SHARE centre near Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh, which is WiFi enabled.

Ian’s Echolink station, with a home brew VOIP interface, is near Sixmilecross in County Tyrone. Via MB7ICC, local radio amateurs with ordinary two meter rigs can make worldwide contacts. For more details see Ian’s website www.mi1ccu.co.uk.

There have been enquiries about accommodation near the
Rally. SHARE is the largest residential activity centre in Ireland and has a guesthouse on site. B&B costs £22.50.
