1899 "Aspirin" patented by Felix Hoffmann

1907 1st radio broadcast of a musical composition aired

1910 Wireless Institute of Australia founded, world's first Amateur Radio society.

1917 Members of 1st Anzac Wireless Signal Squadron occupy Baghdad.
