Morse code beeps back into business

New Zealand's Radio Amateurs got some good publicity on TV news after they were allocated a new band from 505-515 KHz.

The TV report was presented in a way that the general public could readily understand.

As well as showing Radio Amateurs using Morse Code on 512 kHz the report also mentioned some of the other things Radio Amateurs do such as Emergency Communications.
