Shanghai International Ham Radio FestivalThe Shanghai International Ham Radio Festival takes place April 3-5 and among the speakers will be CubeSat transponder designer William Leijenaar PE1RAH. The Shanghai International Ham Radio Festival is taking place in conjunction with the Shanghai International Two-Way Radio Fair 2010. The Shanghai Radio Sport Association (SRSA) station BY4AA /4 will be on-the-air from the event on 14.275MHz and 21.258MHz SSB as well as 436.000MHz FM. There will be several lectures one of which is by Dutch Radio Amateur William Leijenaar PE1RAH who will talk about his Linear Transponder for CubeSats. He has developed a 300mW PEP UHF-VHF transponder with a CW beacon that can run from a 3.6 volt battery.
