Search ends for pristine copy of 1965 electronics magazine

British electronics engineer David Clark will collect the
$10,000 finder's fee offered by Intel Corporation for a pristine copy of the April 19, 1965 issue of Electronics Magazine in which co-founder Gordon Moore first espoused what came to be known as "Moore's Law."

Put simply, Moore predicted the doubling of the number of transistors in integrated circuits every couple of years.

Because of the magazine's value to the company, Intel
will arrange for its own employees to pick up the cherished
publication from Clark and hand-deliver it to company
headquarters in Santa Clara.
