End of the union centenary celebrations

Radio amateurs in Norway and Sweden celebrate the centenary of the dissolution of the union between the two countries with special prefixes from 17 May until 7 June and awards available from both countries.

In Norway, LA stations can use the prefix LI, while LB stations may use the LJ prefix. Details of the ‘Norge 1905’ award can be found on the Internet.

In Sweden, the special prefixes are SE, SF, SJ and SG and an award called ‘Sverige 1905’ is available.

Full details are on the SSA’s Internet site.
