VK4BB scoops prestigious award

A word about an award that's already presented. This being the WIA's prestigious G A Taylor Medallion, awarded to Graham Kemp VK4BB in recognition of the quite Herculean effort and energy the man has put into the Wireless Institute of Australia's news bulletins for several years.

The problem with awards of any kind is that there's always someone that somebody reckons should have collared it first. Well, while I was editing magazines I often saw glimpses of the extraordinary effort and the remarkable number of hours which Graham put into every single broadcast, week after week after week, without break.

Frankly, I doubt you'd easily be able to find a more worthy volunteer recipient than this amazing gentleman, who somehow also finds the time to put his considerable talents into the Rotary organisation as well.

Congratulations, Graham, and thank you from all of us. Now... don't just sit there basking, man, get back to work!
