Hamsat Update

All things going fine and the launch time would be between 10.20 -10.50 hrs IST depending on the weather condx.

President of India Dr Abdul Kalam would be the VIP to dedicate the new launch pad and also the two sats Cartosat and Hamsat.

President of Amsat India Air Cmde Suby VU2UV is also a special invitee for the occassion. While other members of Amsat India would at the ISAC centre to witness the
complete launch and mission activities.

Keps will be available only after all orbital parameters are stabilised as per Mr J P Gutpa Project Dir. - similarly photos etc.

Info from VU3ICC and VU3TYG webmasters that web pages www.amsatindia.com and www.amsat.in will be uploaded with new content shortly. But due to technical reasons the web page www.amsatindia.org is down for sometime.

I am now using vu2pop@gmail.com id to send these msgs instead of my earlier id comex@vsnl.com
