New Isle of Wight ATV Repeater On The Air

GB3PD, the new SCART ATV repeater co-sited with GB3IW at Stenbury Down, Isle of Wight, went operational on Wednesday 20 April and initial results are excellent.

GB3PD operates on 1316MHz, with its input on 1249MHz. Howard Chapman, G3NZL, the repeater keeper says “A big thank you to everyone involved.”

On 30 April and 1 May between 1.00pm and 4.00pm local time, tests will take place of the Brecon Beacons repeater, formally GB3BB, from a proposed site near Llangattock, Powys.

The station will be listening and replying on the old frequency of 145.700MHz and listening only on 145.100MHz, in case anyone has trouble switching off repeater shift. Any signal reports are most welcome. For details contact Steve, GW6CUR, on 029 2063 4613.
