National Mills Weekend - 7 and 8 May

Special event stations will be operating from wind mills and water mills all over the country. A list of stations taking part can be found on the Denby Dale Amateur Radio Society website.

The Havering and District Amateur Radio Club in Essex is putting no fewer than four mills on the air this year: GB2UW, GB0MW, GB2ARW and GB5SW.

The club is running its own award programme, the Essex Windmill Award. To qualify, UK stations should work any two of the four stations on any band and mode.
