Sandford Mill Radio Museum

Sandford Mill Radio Museum will be open to the public during every Sunday in August.

Opening Times are 2-5 pm.

The Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society will be running GX0MWT from the famous "2MT" hut in the museum on the 7th and 21st of August so these are the best days for Amateurs to visit.

What is at Sandford Mill? It has the now famous "2MT" Hut. Donald Imber's Ships Radio equipment and a Ships Radio Room are on display. There are plenty of things for 'girls and boys aged 6 to 90 years old' to play with.

There are also a number of exhibits associated with Crompton & Hoffman and other manufacturers associated with Chelmsford.

Tea and light refreshments will be available. Car parking & entrance is Free.
