2005 VK / Trans-Tasman Contests

This is a reminder that the 80 metre VK/ trans-Tasman Contest will be held on SAT 21st MAY, (Phone), and SAT 4th JUNE (CW), from 0800 to 1400 hrs UTC

It's a "fun" contest. So don't just say, "I'm not into Contesting", because this one is for beginners and experts alike, - and you won't know if you like it if you don't give it a go !

Rules will be emailed to about 1000 Hams in VK / ZL.

Also, PLEASE a much higher percentage of returned Logs !

This Contest offers a lot that others fail to deliver, such as:

6 hours, reworking stations every hour.

Best 5 hours to count (meaning you don't have to work 6 if it doesn't suit you, - but you can work 6 to try and improve your final score.

Scoring to provide (so far as is possible), a level playing field for all.

A bronze metal, engraved trophy (none of that plastic stuff!) and the best laminated Certificates you are likely to see.
