National WIA's first AGM

The First AGM of the National WIA will be held in Canberra on May 7. All members if they so wish will be able to attend.

This Annual General Meeting of the Wireless Institute of Australia will be held in the Italo Australian club Hall (up stairs) Franklin street Forrest from 1400 to 1700 Hrs. It is expected that the statuary functions of the meeting will take around 40 minutes to an hour.

At the conclusion of the statuary business the board will invite members questions and comments on any concerns you the members may have.

On the Saturday evening there will be a dinner, also held in the Italo Australian club. If you have not indicated your attendance at the meeting or booked for the dinner, by close of business Monday 2nd May you may well miss
out.

On the Sunday 8th May a minibus will take members, guests and visitors to the Tidbinbilla Tracking Station Visitors Centre and a second minibus for a tour of Canberra, New Parliament House, Australian War Memorial and the
National Gallery
