UK commercial broadcaster Apple FM closes down

The UK commercial broadcaster Apple FM closed down this week after two and a half years on the air.

An E-mail from the station says that "The decision has been taken by Apple FM's management that in the current financial climate it would be unwise for us to continue."

Apple FM has been broadcasting nationally on Sky Digital, and locally to the area around Exeter in Devon.
