Duke of Edinburgh Awards 50th Anniversary

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association (CARA) is to operate a Special Event Station GB50DE over the weekend of the 24/25th June as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards 50th Anniversary Celebrations at Berkeley Castle.

CARA will be operating GB50DE from a 30ft Gazebo. There will be a display of items of radio equipment (this should include some pre-war items), as well as an operational station on a number of bands.

A QSL Card will be available (on request) to anyone making a contact with the station
