DQ2006R is one of the many Amateur Radio Special Event
Stations operating during the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany.
The ham radio activity starts May, 13th and ends July 16th 2006. Activities
are planned on all bands and modes.
There are a total of 38 different amateur radio stations 'on air' during
the championship in Germany.
The prefix DQ means that it is a so called district-station
inside Germany and the prefix DR stands for a station
inside or close to a football stadium.
DQ2006R stands for the district and the country Nordrhein-Westfalen.
The activity is performed by multiple operators, including some YL’s,
from several places in our state http://dq2006r.de/.
All QSLs will be send automaticaly via the DARC-bureau.
The QSL manager for direct cards is DF4ZL. Please enclose 2 $ or 1 IRC
and 1 SAE.
