SA's Hamnet director to stand down

Francois, ZS6BUU, is quoted below:

"I have decided that, after leading Hamnet for 5 years, it is time to allow my post to become available to a successor. Hamnet performs a vital function to the community, therefore it would be inappropriate of me to step down and leave a vacuum."

"In fairness to everyone, the post is therefore being advertised by way of the SARL Bulletin and I will await possible applicants to contact me in due course. Two people have already indicated that they are interested in filling the post."

"The chosen person will automatically become a member of my committee and over a period of 6 months be shown what my responsibilities and routines entail.
Should all go according to plan, the new incumbent will take over in January next year. This appointment will be confirmed by the Council of the SARL."

"I will remain a Hamnet member."
