SARL Youth Net keeps gaining popularity

The SARL Youth Net, which is on the air every Thursday at 18:00 CAT on 3,650 MHz, is attracting more and more participants.

If you have a young radio amateur near you, invite him or her to your shack to join Stuart and the gang. They will enjoy talking to their peer group.

There is now an opportunity to win a 2006 ARRL handbook in the Design a Youth Net QSL-card Competition. Learners (Young radio amateurs under 18 years old) are invited to submit designs for a SARL Youth Net QSL-card.

The card should be single sided and include the SARL Logo, the call sign ZS6SRL, be representative of South Africa and include elements depicting the youth.

The card must be suitable to be sent as a soft copy and be suitable for printing. The closing date for entries is 30 June. Mail entries to armi@sarl.org.za. Please include your full contact details.
