Amateur radio 23cm band 'worth £252K per MHz'

The UK regulator Ofcom recently released a report titled 'Aeronautical and maritime spectrum pricing'.

This report valued the spectrum between 1215 and 1350 MHz at £252,000 per MHz.

Currently, 1240 to 1325 MHz is allocated to the Amateur Radio service on a secondary basis. The Amateur Satellite Service has an allocation from 1260 to 1270 MHz.
