Scarborough Reef DXpedition QRT

BS7H went QRT after nearly 45,000 QSOs on May 6 around 0000 UTC.

They were able to put up even a fourth station, the pile-ups were tremendous and the demand was still huge when they finished.

Though the 2007 BS7H activity was not able to satisfy everyone's needs, at least their wish to do so should be acknowledged highly. They kept running two stations
simultaneously in CW and SSB on 20m all the time and the other two stations were taking care of all other bands.

Using a wider listening spectrum increased the chances of the little pistols - as long as they stuck to the HAM rules. Many people hoping for a RTTY QSO with BS7H were disappointed, impossible from Europe.

Many HAMs were disturbing others in a very annoying way which probably is a late result of the liberalization of the license exams?

A few years ago 45.000 QSOs would have been a great effort (and it still is) but the HAM spirit back then was much bigger!
