VHF news from Ireland

The monthly 6-metre net organised by Kerry Amateur
Radio Group
will take place next on Monday the 4th of June.

The frequency used is 50.135 MHz SSB at 9.00 p.m. local time. The 6-metre net takes place on the first Monday of each month.

The 4-metre activity night will take place on Tuesday the 5th of June on 70.2625 MHz from 8 to 10 p.m. local time. Modes in use are AM, FM and SSB. The 4-metre activity night takes place on the first Tuesday of each month.

The EI 6 meter beacon EI0SIX operates on 50.052 MHz using 20 Watts into a Trident V6M half-wave vertical antenna. The beacon is located on the Hill of Allen in County Kildare - IO63NF
