Chelmsford Morse Courses

The Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) will be running their third Morse evening course starting Thursday 12th June.

The first course was started under the leadership of Andrew Kersey G0IBN in 2007 and every course has been oversubscribed (they are 8 places on each course).

The courses are held on Thursday evenings at the Danbury Village Hall in Essex and their popularity highlights the pent up demand that exists for Morse tuition.

Although no longer a licensing requirement Morse remains unsurpassed for DX working using the simplest of equipment. There’s a lot of fun to be had in learning and using it and CW seems to be more popular now than ever.

CARS also run courses for the Radio Communication exams for details contact Clive G1EUC on 01245-224577 or E-mail: training2008@g0mwt.org.uk
