WRAA and VMARS Weekend Activity Camp
17th-18th May

Many frequent visitors to the Worcester Radio Amateurs website will recall seeing something about this camp from 2007, well we're back again this year to have a bit more fun.

Last year's event was such a lark, we have decided to do it again, and will continue to do so I expect.

Ferret and Saracen ready to transmit

This year we will see the Ferrets and Saracen on parade, along with a fully kitted out unimog, several Land Rovers and hopefully that beautiful Nemesis unit again.

Combine this with our club station, a BBQ, several cans of beer and some light hearted fun, I think we may enjoy this one too, whatever the weather.

If you would like to come along and join us for the weekend, or just pop over and have a look you are more than welcome

This year’s event follows a theme, the VMARS guys are following the BOAR set-up and the WRAA guys are playing with large wire array's. You won't be able to miss us, just look out for the two 100 foot masts, kites and military vehicles on the Worcester to Stratford Road near Spetchley.

The venue:
Churchill Wood Farm
Alcester  Road (A422)
Churchill
WORCESTER
WR7 4QD

Email us if you have any questions about this activity camp, there may also be some space remaining should you wish to camp over for the weekend.
