The 14.300 MHZ Radio Network

From 0700 to 2400 Eastern Time, 1100 to 0400 UTC, a group of Ham Radio operators volunteer as Net Control Stations on 14.300 MHZ.

These dedicated people unselfishly give their time to monitor and assist with traffic ranging from emergency situations to giving maritime mobile stations weather and tropical storm information and posting their positions online, to just being a contact frequency for a friendly chat.

Also contributing to the network are the numerous stations that are not net control stations but monitor 14.300 MHz and assist the duty NCS with traffic. Especially when poor propagation exist, these relay stations “riding along” are invaluable.

We salute the existence of the networks that operate on 14.300 MHz and commend all of the volunteer operators who make it what it is today. Amateur Radio at its finest!
